It is not only the person who shapes the image, but also the surroundings. Colors, streets, facades and small coincidences give each portrait its own character.
Style & focus
Travel portraits are often created under different conditions than a shoot at home or in a studio. They are shaped by a mobile setup, changing locations, available light and sometimes only a short window of time.
A shoot can be planned, but it can also happen spontaneously: on a street, in front of a colored wall or in a quiet moment between two places. This mix of planning, chance and surroundings is what makes the images interesting. The city, the light and the atmosphere of the moment become part of the portrait.
