Outdoor portraits are less controlled than studio work. The place becomes more involved: light changes, backgrounds shift, and wind, shadow or movement can take an image in a different direction.
That is what makes these series interesting to me. A portrait outdoors often feels more alive because the person and the surroundings are not separated, but work together in the image.
